Professor of Law David S. Cohen will speak at Case Western Reserve University School of Law about his new book exposing the harrowing daily realities faced by abortion providers across the United States. “Living in the Crosshairs: The Untold Story of Anti-Abortion Terrorism documents the use of harassments, threats, and violence by anti-abortion activists in their campaigns to eliminate access to abortion.

Cohen is a Drexel University professor whose studies have had him follow constitutional law as it pertains to gender, and violence against abortion providers. The author will speak at 5:30 p.m. in the Moot Courtroom of the Case Western Reserve University School of Law, 11075 East Boulevard, Cleveland, OH 44106.

Cohen will discuss interviews with the doctors and service providers who have faced bombings, pickets at their homes and stalking of their children because of their role in providing reproductive health services.  Illuminating stories that rarely receive media attention, Cohen calls for legal reforms to protect access to abortion services and the providers who make them possible.
