Box 443 Berea, Ohio 44017 About the Speaker: Page is a prominent reproductive rights activist who consults for several national pro-choice groups, including the Adoption Access Network and the National Institute for Reproductive Health. Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Gov. Ed Rendell, and the New Jersey and Washington state legislators have adopted her pro-choice policy proposals. A prominent author, Page’s newest book is entitled How the Pro-choice Movement Saved America: Freedom, Politics and the War on Sex. Her previous works include The Smart Girl’s Guide to College and her commentary has appeared in hundreds of newspapers nationwide, including The New York Times, Chicago Sun Times, and Newsday. Page is also a regularly featured contributor to the Huffington Post. The Freedom of Choice Cleveland Coalition (FOCC) is an alliance of Cleveland-area organizations that proactively support safe and legal access to abortion and birth control for all women. The ACLU of Ohio is a member of FOCC. |
