Description: At the very moment we are celebrating the election of the nation's first black president and commentators around the world are heralding our “triumph over race” the majority of young black men in urban areas across the United States are locked behind bars or labeled felons for life -- relegated to a permanent second-class status.

ACLU of Ohio Education Director Shakyra Diaz and OSU Law Professor Michelle Alexander will discuss the necessary structural reform of the Ohio justice system to prevent racial biases and over criminalization of people of color.
