Freedom of Choice Ohio Coalition: Prevention First Lobby Day

Description: Now more than ever our elected officials need to hear our voices and our stories. We need you to lend your voice as we speak out in support of common sense legislation that seeks to improve the health of women and families in Ohio.

Join hundreds of other proactive and pro-choice Ohioans on this exciting day to become a trained citizen lobbyist and meet with your legislators. The morning will be filled with trainings, followed by a panel discussion led by Ohio House Representative Dan Stewart (D-Columbus) about Compassionate Care for Rape Victims, a measure pending in the Ohio Legislature to ensure that emergency contraception is available to rape victims in hospitals.

We will provide you with the information, materials, and inspiration you’ll need!

Attention social workers: Earn 2.5 free CEUs for attending lobby day!
