Access to government records is the foundation of democracy. Complete access to information is the best tool to hold our elected officials accountable and guard against corruption and wrongdoing. Learn more about Sunshine Laws issues including recent developments in open records law, use of records requests by journalists, and submitting your own request.
Open to the public at no cost. Up to 3 hours of CLE credit will be available for a $50 fee to lawyers who attend. This event is sponsored by the ACLU of Ohio, The University of Akron School of Law, Ohio Newspaper Association, Ohio Coalition for Open Government, and the Ohio Citizen Action Legislative Money in Politics Project. |
