ACLU of Ohio membership conference 2012
Your Voice, Your Power

Help us kick off Your Voice! Your Power! with an exciting evening cocktail reception. Many of the most prominent thinkers in civil liberties will be there, including:

  • Mary Beth Tinker: Trailblazing activist and plaintiff in the landmark Supreme Court case, Tinker v. Des Moines Independent School District, the case that gave First Amendment protection to children in school.
  • Nsombi Lambright: The ACLU of Mississippi’s brave executive director, who turned her office into one of the state’s most powerful advocacy organizations and is widely credited with helping to defeat the Mississippi state personhood amendment.
  • Lisa Graves: The executive director of the Center for Media and Democracy, working to expose the partisan groups attempting to hijack the legislative process.
  • Dan Mach: A prominent defender of religious liberty and the director of the ACLU Program on Freedom of Religion and Belief.
