02.26.07 The ACLU of Ohio, together with
Ohioans to Stop Executions and other local anti-death penalty groups, is launching a postcard campaign to urge
Governor Strickland to stop executions.
Here's how:
You can pick up postcards at the ACLU’s Cleveland office, 4506
Chester Avenue, from 8am until 6pm, Monday through Friday. Please
call (216-472-2220) or e-mail (contact@acluohio.org)
to let us know you’ll be stopping by and how many postcards you
need.
If you order a stack of 50 postcards, we’ll ship them to you for
free! Please call (216-472-2220) or e-mail (contact@acluohio.org)
your request.
Last week, the Associated Press reported that “letters to Gov. Ted
Strickland are running almost 5 to 1 in favor of ending capital
punishment or temporarily stopping it to study the system.”
