Cell phone at protest

We have the right to peacefully protest. If you plan on participating in a local demonstration, or heading to our nation’s capital, we want to hear from you. Be an ACLU On the Ground Reporter!

We welcome your pictures, feedback, and observations from the historic Women’s March on Washington, or from the sister demonstrations in Ohio. To participate, email us at contact@acluohio.org or tweet us @acluohio.

Be aware that sending in your photos or comments is taken as permission to share with other ACLU supporters through our electronic media. Please don’t send us materials you don’t want shared.

Photo Stream from weekend of January 28, 2017

  • Columbus, OH -- Photo: Adrienne Gavula

On Friday, January 27, 2017, President Donald Trump issued an executive order banning many Muslims from entering the country. The ACLU and other legal organizations filed a lawsuit on behalf of individuals who were subject to the ban. A federal judge granted our request for a nationwide temporary injunction that will block the deportation of all people stranded in U.S. airports under the ban.

The slideshow above features submitted photos from demonstrations on Sunday, January 29, 2017.

Photo Stream from weekend of January 20, 2017

  • ACLU of Ohio Staff

The slideshow above features photos from Inauguration related gatherings in Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio; Chicago, IL; and Washington, D.C. We would like to thank all of the civil libertarians out there who attended marches, took photos, and reported them back to our office. We stand with you in solidarity.
