Start a Campus Club

Thank you for your interest in organizing an ACLU campus club at your school. If there is sufficient interest among students, the ACLU will be glad to work with you to start a club and provide ongoing support. 

The first four steps:

1) Read the campus organizing manual.
Introducing the ACLU, organization 101, building a campaign, activity ideas, & more

2) Read the campus club core agenda

3) Read campus club expectations

4) Send a completed registration form to: ACLU of Ohio, Attn: Campus Organizing, 4506 Chester Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44103


Remember the ACLU is a non-partisan organization and does not endorse candidates for elective office; it does support and oppose ballot measures which affect civil liberties. The ACLU is not a peace organization and is not an anti-globalization group, nor is it anti-religion (though it strongly supports separation of religion and government).
