Now that you have the tools, put them to use! Below are some ideas for getting started.
 
Join our team! Take up the fight for civil liberties and give strength to our lobbying efforts by joining the ACLU.
 
Get Informed! Check out our events calendar for upcoming programs near you.
 
Spread the word. Plan a community program or request a speaker to talk to your group.
 
Share your success. Since our training in August, participants have taken action. Here’s a sampling:
  -- One activist had a letter to the editor printed in her local paper.
  --  Another activist contacted his city council members and mayor
      regarding his city’s hindrance of political speech.
