For nearly 100 years, the American Civil Liberties Union has been at the forefront of every major battle for civil liberties and social justice in this country. As leaders of the resistance, the ACLU brings together activists from all walks of life in the advancement of equality, fairness, and freedom, especially for the most vulnerable in our society.

The ACLU of Ohio seeks an Advocacy and Mobilization Manager to develop and implement strategies to steward legislative relationships and mobilize ACLU supporters to advance the organization’s advocacy plans and priority issue campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity to effect systemic change with a dynamic nonprofit organization.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of two years of experience in social justice advocacy, as well as capabilities in grassroots and grass-tops organizing, community outreach, and working in coalitions. Thorough understanding of the legislative process and some prior legislative experience is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking, is important.

Salary and Compensation
Salary based on skills and experience. Benefits package includes health, life, disability insurance, retirement, and paid time off.
