For nearly 100 years, the American Civil Liberties Union has been at the forefront of every major battle for civil liberties and social justice in this country. As leaders of the resistance, the ACLU brings together activists from all walks of life in the advancement of equality, fairness, and freedom, especially for the most vulnerable in our society.
The ACLU of Ohio seeks an Organizing Strategist to identify, recruit, train, and manage leaders in the bail and criminal justice reform movement in Ohio and end mass incarceration through policy change. This is an exciting opportunity to effect systemic change with a dynamic nonprofit organization.
Ideal candidates will have a demonstrated expertise in political or community organizing, coalition management, and campaign planning, along with a demonstrated commitment to social justice and civil liberties.
Salary and compensation
Salary based on skills and experience. Benefits package includes health, life, disability insurance, retirement, and paid time off.
