In the 11th hour of the Ohio General Assembly’s June session dates, Ohio lawmakers commandeered a straightforward, nonpartisan bill addressing fees for birth certificates and IDs for homeless individuals, and amended into an unrecognizable piece of legislation that will end vote-by-mail as we know it.

Tell Cleveland City Council to end the city’s $2 million-plus contract and invest in programs that achieve public safety, without exposing its residents to intrusive surveillance.

House Bill 251 is a bill sold as regulating police and private use of drones. However, it provides police with a blank check to surveil, with drones, any and all of our travels, activities, and destinations without a warrant.
