Looking for more from the legislature? Itching to take action?

Save the date for the 2014 ACLU of Ohio biennial conference, “Resist. Reclaim. Restore Your Rights!”

Meet advocates from across the state. Learn the latest about the issues you care about. Work with us to expand civil liberties protections for all Ohioans.

This will be our third consecutive biennial conference – each has surpassed the last!

2010: Amy Goodman, author and host of Democracy Now! laid out a path for engaging advocates. Drug Policy Alliance Executive Director Ethan Nadelmann called for drug policy reform. Civil liberties icon Mary Beth Tinker discussed her lifelong work to protect students’ rights.

2012: LGBT activist Zach Wahls kicked off the conference with an inspirational tale of his work for equality in Iowa. Lisa Graves, with the Center for Media and Democracy, shared her insight on groups like the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), who use their relationships with legislators to push a partisan agenda.

2014: Planning for fabulous workshops with inspirational speakers is underway! Check back often for updates on speakers, continuing education opportunities, and more.
