For nearly 100 years, the American Civil Liberties Union has been at the forefront of every major battle for civil liberties and social justice in this country. As leaders of the resistance, the ACLU brings together activists from all walks of life in the advancement of equality, fairness, and freedom, especially for the most vulnerable in our society.
The ACLU of Ohio seeks a Policy Strategist who will be conducting legislative research and analyzing the policies that affect and impact everyday Ohioans. A thinker is who we are searching for; someone with vision, capable of developing and implementing integrated strategies that advance the ACLU of Ohio’s mission of preserving, protecting, and expanding civil liberties, civil rights, and racial justice. This requires sensitivity, persuasiveness, and creative problem solving to balance competing interests.
Salary Range: $46,000 - $52,000.
Compensation: Salary offer shall be determined by depth and breadth of successful candidate’s knowledge and experience. Total compensation package includes generous health insurance benefits (including dental, vision, and hearing); new hires receive four (4) weeks of paid time off, accrued at approximately thirteen (13) hours per month; and ten (10) paid federal holidays.
