As we enter a second Trump Administration and the path to protecting the civil rights and liberties of all Americans, one thing is crystal clear: We have a plan. During the first Trump Administration, the ACLU filed more than 400 legal actions, often resulting in landmark victories before Trump-appointment judges. At the ACLU of Ohio, we are prepared to hit the ground running on day one. We will not only take action in the courts, but also advocate in our state governments and communities, in collaboration with the National ACLU and our affiliates nationwide. From reproductive freedom and LGBTQ+ protections to criminal justice reform, voting rights, and immigration, we are ready to rise to the challenge and fight for the rights of ALL Americans.
