The ACLU of Ohio condemns Cleveland City Council's passage of an emergency ordinance renewing its contract with Flock Safety, a prominent tech company that provides automatic license plate readers to thousands of law enforcement agencies across the country.

House Bill 251 will impact Ohioans’ privacy rights by giving state and local government and law enforcement the authority to engage in never-ending surveillance as long as we are outside our homes.
