Bio

Pat Gleydura serves as a Policy Strategist for the ACLU of Ohio based out of Cleveland. They work with folks from grass-root to grass-top levels to forward the mission of the ACLU. Their work primarily focusses on Youth Justice reform, marrying their policy bend and social work training to ensure just treatment for all Ohio youth.

Pat was previously an intern in the ACLU policy department in 2020-2021 working to expand voting efforts for college students. In the space between time with the ACLU they were the Youth and Young Adult Organizer at Honesty for Ohio Education and the Northeast Ohio Field Organizing Fellow for Planned Parenthood Advocates of Ohio. Pat has built an early career that is diverse in issue area with a throughline of advocacy and change.

Pat earned both a BSW and MSW from The Ohio State University in 2020 and 2021, respectively. They are proud to call themselves a social worker and hold those professional ethics in high esteem. In their free time Pat is a comic book nerd who can tell you all about Spider-Man and a fanatical Ohio State Buckeyes supporter.
