Protect Ohio’s Existing Cannabis Laws

Ohio lawmakers are considering Senate Bill 293, anti-voter legislation that would close the post-election window for accepted mailed ballots. Instead of having a four-day period following Election Day, ballots received after Election Day would not be counted. TAKE ACTION: Contact the Senate General Government Committee and urge them to REJECT SB 293.

The military has no place occupying D.C. or any other American city. The deployment of the National Guard is an intimidation tactic by an authoritarian administration and Governor DeWine is complicit. TAKE ACTION: Urge Governor DeWine to keep Ohio's National Guard out of Washington D.C.

House Bill 249 seeks to limit drag performances to strip clubs and similar locations, making it a crime to perform in drag in other places where a minor may be present. This bill broadly targets anyone who performs exhibiting a gender identity different than the entertainer’s biological sex at birth. HB 249 also relies on notoriously vague legal standards used to determine whether content is considered obscene and/or “harmful to juveniles.”
