Bio

Sheila believes in empowering communities to take action through offering informative, thoughtful education and resources. In her role as a Communications Strategist, she shares the critical work of the ACLU of Ohio with the public, while also providing engaging ways for others to support the affiliate’s advocacy work. Sheila has cultivated a passion for grassroots activism and voting rights while volunteering with local organizations, including The League of Women Voters of Greater Cleveland, Fair Districts, and Mobilize the Vote NEO. Through both her community involvement and role at the ACLU of Ohio, Sheila has tremendous hope for her home state and remains committed to helping build a more progressive, equitable future for all.

In 2017, Sheila graduated with a B.A. in Strategic Communications and German from The Ohio State University. In her free time, she loves to hike, travel, and explore the best breakfast spots in Cleveland.
