From voting rights, to mass incarceration, to non-discrimination policies for members of the LGBTQ community, we have our work cut out for us. And we have countless others to defend. We’re extremely proud of our work to protect reproductive rights for all Ohio women and families, we’ll continue to push for comprehensive police reform, and we will work to uphold the First Amendment.
In these politically challenging times, the ACLU is pushing for systemic and sustainable change for Ohioans who need it most. We’re on the front line protecting LGBTQ persons, immigrants, Muslims, persons with disabilities, those in all phases of the criminal justice system, and women. When it comes to safeguarding the Constitution, there is no backing down. We’re in the civil liberties fight for the long haul - see what we have in store for 2018 by viewing our Work Plan.
