Voter Advocates Send Secretary LaRose Letter Regarding Violation of the National Voter Registration Act

Today, the ACLU of Ohio, All Votingis Local, the American Civil Liberties Union, and Campaign Legal sent a letter to Secretary LaRose outlining how his removals of purported “noncitizens” from the voter rolls violate the National Voter Registration Act because they are being conducted during the 90-day period prior to a federal election.
This is the third warning we’ve sent LaRose in the last two weeks regarding various concerns about his unlawful activity. As Ohio’s chief election officer, it is his duty and responsibility to protect eligible Ohio voters access the ballot.
