The ACLU Statewide Action Team will be convening on Wednesday, April 15th from 6-7pm. Attendees will engage in a training and text-banking session in support of the Columbus Safety Collective campaign!

The ACLU of Ohio is hosting yard sign drive thru pick up events for the Columbus Safety Collective Campaign's (CSCC) Vote Yes on Issue 5 efforts on: Friday, April 10th - 12pm to 5pm & Saturday, April 11th - 10am to 3pm Stop by to pick up yard signs for yourself, your neighbors, or your organization to show your support and make sure Columbus residents know to Vote Yes on Issue 5 at the May 5 Election!

We read banned books. Do you?! Join the ACLU of Ohio for a fun night of Banned Books Bingo! Celebrate the freedom to read and recall some of the most famous pieces of literature censored over the decades. The night will include three rounds of Banned Books Bingo called by a few of our favorite Toledo area advocates! Follow along over the next few weeks as we announce the Guest Bingo callers! Seating is limited and tickets must be purchased by March 24th so be sure to secure your spot today! The next NO KINGS protest is scheduled for March 28, 2026, and the ACLU of Ohio will be hosting office hours at our offices in Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati to distribute materials to protest attendees. We'll be giving away signs, whistles, and informational resources. The February meeting of the ACLU OH's Statewide Action Team

On Tuesday, Feb. 3. at 11:59 pm, 15,000 Haitian immigrants are set to lose their "Temporary Protected Status" in Springfield, Ohio (population 60,000). Local residents are preparing for a 30-day ICE surge - even though conditions in Haiti are more dangerous than ever, thousands of children could be separated from their parents, and the Haitian community has helped fuel the small town's economic comeback. We stood up for Springfield, Ohio, when JD Vance and Donald Trump lied about Haitians who live and work there during the 2024 campaign, and we're doing it again now. Join us to hear from local residents and legal experts, help raise funds for local groups providing direct support to Haitian families in Springfield, and take action, no matter where you live.
