The Adams County Sheriff searched Afroman's house. He made some music videos from the security footage, calling out the officers for their behavior. Now the officers are suing. Afroman's music and commentary are protected by the First Amendment.

Shortly before Jason Tharp visited a Buckeye Valley elementary school to present It's Okay to Be a Unicorn, he was told not to read the book due to complaints of a perceived pro-LGBT message. Viewpoint discrimination of reading materials is a violation of students' 1st Amendment rights.

Nick Petitt filmed a Columbus Police SWAT team from his porch. Officers then entered onto Mr. Petitt’s property unlawfully, attacked him, arrested him, and seized his phone, in violation of the Fourth and Fourteenth Amendments.
