Today, the American Civil Liberties Union and the ACLU of Ohio filed an amicus brief in the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in a lawsuit by Plaintiff-Appellants (the “parent group”) challenging Olentangy Local School District’s (the “District”) student speech policies. 

Over the weekend, Portage County Sheriff Bruce Zuchowski deleted his unconstitutional Facebook posts about tracking and recording addresses of people with yard signs supporting Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris.

We have all witnessed the ramifications of bills and laws like these. Books removed from libraries, teachers frightened to even mention numerous topics, and students deprived of an adequate and well-rounded education. Passage of HB 327 would bring all of this and more to Ohio.
