It's Okay to Be a Unicorn! (no litigation)

Shortly before Jason Tharp visited a Buckeye Valley elementary school to present It's Okay to Be a Unicorn, he was told not to read the book due to complaints of a perceived pro-LGBT message. Viewpoint discrimination of reading materials is a violation of students' 1st Amendment rights.

The passage of this law by inclusion in the budget bill violates Ohio’s “single-subject” rule.  In addition, the law is unconstitutionally vague.

State v. Urbanek (amicus)

Mr. Urbanek’s illegal voting conviction is inconsistent with federal voting rights.  HAVA requires that states allow a voter to complete a provisional ballot when their registration status or eligibility cannot be verified immediately. That's what he did.
