COLUMBUS—The Ohio Department of Public Safety recently announced a new initiative called, “See Something, Say Something,” which encourages Ohio residents to call a toll free line if they witness something they believe is “suspicious.”
CLEVELAND– At a news conference today, the ACLU of Ohio announced an investigation into reported government spying in Ohio, in particular Cleveland and Akron.
CLEVELAND– The ACLU has obtained documents that further confirm that the REAL ID Act will be difficult to implement, cause a heavy financial burden on Ohio state taxpayers and will further complicate the system currently in place for drivers to obtain their license in Ohio.

HUDSON, OH– The Fifth District Court of Appeals ruled yesterday that an ordinance restricting the size of political signs in the City of Hudson was unconstitutional. The ACLU of Ohio brought the case on behalf of Karen Arshnikoff, whose husband Alex is Chairman of the Summit County GOP.
